Another Cradle Purse

I finally got another Cradle Purse done and up for sale. I started this one last yr and had it tested by members on Crochetville I just never finished editing the pattern for errors until recently.
Blueberries is my newest addition and you can find the pattern here along with more pictures.
I hope you stop by and have a look

I am beat

Boy was the weekend busy, we worked on weeding out the gardens and getting bark dust spread around. It sure looks a lot better with the fresh coat of bark dust. Hopefully I can get some pics up soon. Sure takes a lot of work getting the yard whipped into shape from sitting all winter long.

The daffodils are sure blooming and they are so pretty.

Yup, Spring has sprung

As you can see, I just put up some pics of a few of the flowers that are in bloom right now in our gardens.

Our roses are opening up their greenery, my Chocolate Columbine is coming back stronger than last yr, my Bleeding Hearts are really coming up. We have mini Daffodils in bloom. It's definately getting time to get some bark dust down.

I'd really like to have snow, but since we are basically past that and it is sunny warm out, I am ready for spring. Guess now we will have to start working in the yard and whipping it back in shape on the nice days.

Time to think abt getting the patio ready, furniture out, BBQ grills prepped for what else but BBQing. Can't wait to sit out on the patio swing and crochet on a sunny warm day.

Cradle Purse Update

Since my first post abt Cradle Purses, I have 2 more patterns that are up for sale in my Etsy store. Born on the 4th of July and Raspberry Clouds. These make great gifts for that special little girl in your life. Hope you check them out.

Cat Graph Ghan

I started this project abt mid January and just finished it up. It really turned out nice. I am planning on entering this project in the Fair this yr. This will be the first time to enter anything at the Fair so am looking forward to it.

This was so much work with all the single crochet stitches but was oh so worth it. It's one of the projects I worked on in between testing patterns for others.

It's layed out on a Queen size bed to give you an idea of how big it is.

I purchased this graph at http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5248618

Recent trip

Recently I went out on the truck with hubby. We went to Clarkston, Washington then up to Coeur D'Alene, Idaho. It's such a pretty trip. Along the way we had a wonderful time with the wildlife. First we ended up with a Coyote shooting across the road in front of us. He lookedl ike he had been spooked.

Next came the Bald Eagle, oh was that ever beautiful. Was close enough to the truck that I could alomost reach out and touch, it was awesome.

Then came the turkey's, we noticed these birds fly in front of us and when they landed on the other side they were turkey's. It was so funny watching them. The 3rd one had to get some altitude or he was going to go smack into a rock wall.

Then came the Elk farm. We stopped so hubby could do his safety check and I took advantage to get s few pics.

I love trips like that. Watching the wildlife is always so much fun. I miss my Big Horn Sheep along I 84 in Oregon.

Pics of my 1st Cradle Purse

Well, here is a couple of pics of what I have been working on and now have up For Sale. Actually it's the patterns that are up for sale.

As a little girl I remember having a Cradle Purse. Mine was made with the bottom of a dishsoap bottle.

I wanted my granddaughter, Mollie Ann to also have one but didn't want to punch the holes and all. Besides I couldn't find a small doll that would fit right. I had to create my own and this is what I came up with to fit the little doll.

I am really proud of this little project.

My store is up and running

Yeah, I have my first pattern up for sale at my Etsy store. Check out the link on the right side. I've already made a couple of sales, yeah!! I am finishing up my final test of a second pattern, "Born on the 4th of July". I should have that up for sale very soon.

Been busy testing patterns for some of the ladies over on Crochetville and for Stormy on Stormy'z Crochet.

Today is a good day for crochet, it's rainy out and really starting to feel like fall.

Hopefully in a day or so I can get some pics up here and start showing off what I have been working on.
